About Tasty Hand - Pulled Noodles

Let me introduce you to Tasty Hand - Pulled Noodles, a spot I always bring up when someone asks where to find real-deal Chinese noodles in New York City. Tucked away at 1 Doyers St, New York, NY 10013, right in the heart of Chinatown, this Chinese noodle restaurant feels like a hidden classic the moment you step near the door. The vibe is casual and welcoming, with that comforting, slightly bustling energy you expect from a place that takes noodles seriously. What makes Tasty Hand - Pulled Noodles stand out is the focus on freshly made, hand-pulled noodles that anchor the entire menu, giving every dish a chewy, satisfying texture that’s hard to forget. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or settling in for a relaxed dine-in meal, the experience feels effortless and unfussy. I like that they offer flexible service options, including outdoor seating when the weather cooperates, plus takeaway and delivery for days when you want comfort food without leaving home. The menu leans heavily into crowd-pleasing comfort food, but it still manages to offer variety, from small plates perfect for sharing to hearty noodle bowls that easily qualify as late-night food. There are vegetarian options that don’t feel like afterthoughts, and if you’re in the mood to unwind, you can pair your meal with beer or other alcohol without turning the visit into a full-blown night out. Everything about Tasty Hand - Pulled Noodles feels straightforward and confident, from the quick service to the bold, familiar flavors, making it an easy recommendation for locals, tourists, and anyone craving authentic Chinese noodles in a relaxed New York setting.

Damn delicious. This no-frills gem is everything you want in a Chinatown noodle spot. We grabbed a table outside—perfect for a bar crawl intermission—and were blown away. The shrimp dumplings? Insane. I should’ve ordered double. Fresh, flavorful, perfectly pan-fried. We split the beef pan-fried noodles (extra wide) for our main, and the sauce was incredible—rich, savory, with generous overflow. Every bite hit. Paired with a crisp Chinese beer and the total was under $40. It’s an institution for a reason, and now I get it. I’ll definitely be back.

Delicious beef noodles and shrimp XLB soup dumplings. The staff is amazing- they gave great recommendations. Love the large serving size as well! They have outdoor seating in the summer

Don't be fooled by the simple storefront; the hand-pulled noodles here are the real deal. In this no-frills spot, every bit of focus is on the food. Loved the scallion pancakes, soup dumplings and the shrimp noodle soup was delicious. The freshest, chewiest hand-pulled noodles you'll find anywhere. They have that perfect texture that only comes from being made to order. It's a quick, cheap, and utterly delicious experience that proves you don't need fancy decor for world-class flavor.

Do yourself a favor and come for dinner after the sun has set. The ambience is fantastic- mood lights above and through the narrow streets of Chinatown. The food was great and the portions were huge. Had I had known beforehand, we would have shared a plate.

So delicious. My whole family absolutely LOVED each dish we got. We showed up hungry and walked away stuffed! Service was super fast. Staff were friendly. I’ll come back! Also, price wise it was pretty good. I was actually shocked at how little we spent for the three of us!

Tremendous food. We loved the noodles with beef, yummy dumplings, and best scallion pancake ever. Service is efficient and friendly enough. Not a lot of frills in here. Fun to sit outside in the street.

This place absolutely hits the spot! I mean don’t get me wrong, it is no fancy service, and they give you water pitchers to drink water with paper coffee cups, but in all honesty it is all part of its charm. It is a little hole (somewhat hidden) in Chinatown, packed with delicious food. You can truly taste the quality of the hand pulled noodles, and the prices are reasonable (especially for the serving sizes) 10/10
